We make use of our international network

EU law is already an important part of Dutch law because many national laws are based on EU directives and regulations. When it comes to international issues, international private law can also be of great importance, in addition to European law. Various EU regulations and international treaties are important for the international legal practice, such as:

  • the Vienna Sales Convention (United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods)
  • the Rome I Regulation (on the law applicable to contracts in international situations)
  • situations)

In the field of insolvency law, the European Insolvency Regulation is important. For situations where legal assistance is required abroad, we can make use of our international network.
